Lezing Frans Huysmans en de Bergense School
In het kader van de bijzondere tentoonstelling over kunstenaar Frans Huysmans in het Noord-Veluws Museum geven Jan van der Lubbe en Margot Jongedijk op maandag 20 maart 2023 om 19.30 uur een lezing over deze kunstenaar.
De tentoonstelling geeft voor het eerst een museaal overzicht van het werk van Frans Huysmans. Ook verscheen afgelopen jaar voor het eerst een monografie over deze onbekende schilder van de Bergense School. De auteurs van het boek Frans Huysmans en de Bergense School geven nu ook een lezing.
Dr. Ir. Jan C.A. van der Lubbe laat u kennis maken met de periode van Huysmans in Haarlem en Schoorl, waar hij deel uitmaakte van de groep kunstenaars van de Bergense School. Drs. Margot Jongedijk, conservator van het Noord-Veluws Museum, zal vertellen over de periode van Huysmans in kunstenaarsdorp Nunspeet, waar hij van 1936 tot zijn overlijden in 1954 woonde.
Over de sprekers:
Dr.ir. Jan C.A. van der Lubbe (1953), studeerde filosofie en wiskunde aan de Universiteit van Amsterdam en de Technische Universiteit Delft. Hij is (mede)auteur van een tiental boeken en circa 300 wetenschappelijke publicaties op gebied van cryptografie, informatietheorie, kunstmatige intelligentie, semiotiek en kunst.
Drs. Margot Jongedijk (1963), sinds 2014 conservator van het Noord-Veluws Museum Nunspeet studeerde geschiedenis met bijvak kunstgeschiedenis aan de Universiteit van Amsterdam. Zij werkte eerder bij het Rijksmuseum, Nederlands Persmuseum, TextielMuseum, Gemeentemuseum Helmond en CODA Apeldoorn.

Museumweek: Leen je Museumkaart uit!
Van zaterdag 1 t/m vrijdag 7 april is het Museumweek. Dan zijn er bijzondere activiteiten in de musea én je mag deze week voor één keer je – anders altijd persoonsgebonden – Museumkaart uitlenen.
Het is wel zo dat mensen de échte Museumkaart moeten laten zien. Geen kopie of foto van de kaart. Er mag per kaart 1 bezoeker naar binnen. De bezoeker komt dus in plaats van de kaarthouder. Je kunt wel altijd zelf nog op een ander moment gaan.
Iedere dag staan de vrijwilligers van het Noord-Veluws Museum klaar om de bezoekers te ontvangen en vertellen graag iets over de tentoonstellingen in de verschillende zalen. Topstukken van Briët, Viegers en vele andere Veluwse schilders vertellen het verhaal van het leven op de Veluwe.
Ultieme kans
De Museumweek is tevens de periode waarin de bezoekers de blikvangers van de Huysmans tenstoonstelling naast elkaar kunnen zien hangen; Boerendans De Wals en Boerendans De Polka. Na Pasen moet Boerendans, De Wals terug naar het Stedelijk Museum Alkmaar. Vanaf dat moment toont het Noord-Veluws Museum een bijzondere replica op ware grootte die zeker de moeite waard is.
Vrijwilligers delen hun kaart
Iedere dag mogen tenminste 10 belangstellenden het museum bezoeken met de kaart van één van de museum-vrijwilligers. Het is van belang om van te voren aan te geven of u van dit aanbod gebruik wilt maken want iedere kaart kan slechts éénmaal per dag worden gebruikt en ‘op is op’.

Lezing Frans Huysmans en de Bergense School
In het kader van de bijzondere tentoonstelling over kunstenaar Frans Huysmans in het Noord-Veluws Museum geven Jan van der Lubbe en Margot Jongedijk op maandag 20 maart 2023 om 19.30 uur een lezing over deze kunstenaar.
De tentoonstelling geeft voor het eerst een museaal overzicht van het werk van Frans Huysmans. Ook verscheen afgelopen jaar voor het eerst een monografie over deze onbekende schilder van de Bergense School. De auteurs van het boek Frans Huysmans en de Bergense School geven nu ook een lezing.
Dr. Ir. Jan C.A. van der Lubbe laat u kennis maken met de periode van Huysmans in Haarlem en Schoorl, waar hij deel uitmaakte van de groep kunstenaars van de Bergense School. Drs. Margot Jongedijk, conservator van het Noord-Veluws Museum, zal vertellen over de periode van Huysmans in kunstenaarsdorp Nunspeet, waar hij van 1936 tot zijn overlijden in 1954 woonde.
Over de sprekers:
Dr.ir. Jan C.A. van der Lubbe (1953), studeerde filosofie en wiskunde aan de Universiteit van Amsterdam en de Technische Universiteit Delft. Hij is (mede)auteur van een tiental boeken en circa 300 wetenschappelijke publicaties op gebied van cryptografie, informatietheorie, kunstmatige intelligentie, semiotiek en kunst.
Drs. Margot Jongedijk (1963), sinds 2014 conservator van het Noord-Veluws Museum Nunspeet studeerde geschiedenis met bijvak kunstgeschiedenis aan de Universiteit van Amsterdam. Zij werkte eerder bij het Rijksmuseum, Nederlands Persmuseum, TextielMuseum, Gemeentemuseum Helmond en CODA Apeldoorn.

Van 6 t/m 18 december 2022 zijn de resultaten van de twee workshops ‘Schilder je eigen Ben Viegers’ te bewonderen in de tentoonstelling Ben Viegers, springlevend!
23 cursisten hebben een werk van Ben Viegers geselecteerd om hun eigen schilderij te maken. Deze activiteit is in samenwerking met de naburige Vrije Academie Nunspeet georganiseerd.
